Overview:
An established and reputable law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal specializing in residential and commercial real estate closings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling real estate closings, particularly for large-scale development projects. This role involves supporting real estate attorneys, managing client relationships, processing files from inception to completion, and conducting real estate closings in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist real estate attorneys in managing and coordinating residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Handle the preparation and review of closing documents for both residential and commercial real estate deals.
Conduct real estate closings, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements and company procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients, title companies, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction flow.
Manage files from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Utilize software tools such as Qualia (preferred) to manage transactions and documentation efficiently.
Provide general administrative support to the real estate practice group as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate closings, with a preference for experience in large-scale development projects.
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial real estate law and closing procedures.
Proficiency in Qualia or similar closing software is highly preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
