Weiss Brown, PLLC is a small business law firm that takes pride in working with start-up clients in all aspects of their business. The real estate transaction group specifically advises individuals and businesses in their commercial real estate transactions. This includes everything from “mom and pop” leases of commercial shops to the purchase and sale of investment properties, and from telecommunications easements to real estate financing. We advise clients at every stage, from letter of intent to closing.
Attorney Position
The law firm of Weiss Brown, PLLC has an immediate opening for an attorney with approximately 3 years of experience to join our real estate practice group, which focuses on commercial real estate transactions. As an attorney at Weiss Brown, you would work directly with our experienced real estate transactional attorneys, receive significant training, and interact with clients. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are willing to work hard while having fun and who consistently strive to deliver exceptional client service and work product of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include:
Drafting, analyzing, and summarizing complicated legal documents, especially contracts, leases, easements, and purchase agreements.
Performing due diligence in commercial real estate transactions.
Working with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate real estate agreements from the LOI stage through closing and beyond.
Working in the office, although there is flexibility for working remotely.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere with Weiss Brown attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
Excellent research, drafting, and writing skills.
Extremely efficient, organized, and resourceful.
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
Possess a high degree of intellect, diligence, and self-motivation.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, as well as an interest in business.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and a significant workload of diverse matters in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
