Position Summary
The Government Property Analyst II plays a critical role within a fastpaced satellite and space telecommunications manufacturing environment, ensuring full compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements while maintaining robust digital documentation and the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). This position supports the lifecycle of government property across production, integration, and test operations—ensuring that assets essential to satellite ground systems, RF equipment, modems, terminals, and other missioncritical technologies are properly tracked, reported, and controlled.
Responsibilities
- Maintain full lifecycle accountability for Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) used in the development and production of satellite communication products, ground systems, RF subsystems, and space related hardware.
- Execute accurate and timely GFP and IUID reporting through PIEE, supporting contract transitions, property movements, and program milestones.
- Ensure alignment with DFARS and internal aerospace/defense quality standards.
- Perform property reconciliations across manufacturing, engineering labs, integration facilities, and test environments.
- Identify discrepancies or trends, escalate risks affecting production, equipment availability, or readiness.
- Support DCMA audits, customer audits, internal reviews, data calls, androotcausecorrective actions associated with property discrepancies.
- Collaborate closely with program management, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, andcustomer supportteams tomaintainaccurateand compliant property records.
- Serve as administrator supporting complex document workflows used in satellite & RF manufacturing programs, government property management, and audit documentation.
- Configure workflows, metadata structures, security roles, and document repositories to support the secure handling of records and regulated documentation.
- Ensure documentation environment aligns with aerospace quality and cybersecurity expectations, including version control, access logs, and retention requirements.
- Maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, manage user access.
- Ensure digital repositories remain audit ready with traceability for production and compliance evidence.
- Maintain QMS documentation tied to customer and government property, inspections, and production control.
- Support internal and external audits (ISO, AS9100, customer audits, DCMA), providing required documentation, traceability artifacts, and workflow evidence.
- Ensuretimelyupdates of procedures, work instructions, andformsforproperty control.
- Work with Quality to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation integrity, corrective actions, and streamlined compliance workflows.
Requirements
- Handson experience managing government property within a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environmentpreferred.
- Experience with PIEE, IUID, GFP reporting, ERP asset systems (SAP, Costpoint, PRISM, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
- Experience administering workflow/document management platforms and supporting a QMS in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar).
- Excellent communication, documentation discipline, and organizational skills.
Skills
- Experience in satellite communications, RF manufacturing, or space related government programs. Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), calibration systems, and engineering change controls.
Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education
- Bachelor's degreeand/or combination of education and relevant experience.

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
