Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., a mid-Atlantic-based Am Law 200 firm, seeks a mid- to senior-level associate or counsel to join our expanding Real Estate team in our Baltimore, Richmond, or Washington, DC office. Candidates should have 4+ years of commercial real estate development experience with a solid understanding of sophisticated real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing transactions with a particular emphasis on leasing matters (including office, retail and industrial) and experience and confidence in closing deals. Attorney responsibilities will include working with partners on complex developer-sided transactions; drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, leasing, loan documents, and other transaction documents; and due diligence review.
Job Requirements:
A successful candidate will be a high performer who demonstrates superior written and oral communication skills; has excellent academic credentials; possesses good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients; possesses an interest in business development; is diligent and detail-oriented; and demonstrates an ability to work independently and productively. We are particularly interested in candidates who are ambitious and want to work in a collaborative environment to help grow and support our real estate practice.
